Conversational BI

Business intelligence you use by asking questions in plain language — typed or spoken — instead of building reports and dashboards.

In practice

Traditional BI answers the questions someone anticipated: a dashboard, a monthly report, a filter panel. Conversational BI answers the question you have right now — "which clients bought less this quarter than last?" — in the words you'd use with a colleague.

It matters most for people who need numbers but don't live in the reporting tool: sales reps between visits, managers on the move, owners who want one figure without opening three screens.

What makes it trustworthy

A conversational answer is only as good as its grounding. The answer has to come from a real query on your data, respect who's allowed to see what, and admit when the data isn't there. Without that, it's just AI hallucination with a friendly voice.
