Purchases and suppliers
Ask emily what you owe suppliers and your purchase history — available on a direct ERP connection.
Ask about suppliers, on a direct connection
On a direct ERP connection, ask things like:
- "How much do we owe [Supplier]?"
- "What have we purchased from [Supplier] this quarter?"
- "Which supplier do we spend the most with?"
Each of these needs the direct connection — supplier spend, what you owe, and purchase history aren't part of the standard connection.
The shape of an answer
| Supplier | Spend this quarter | Outstanding |
|---|---|---|
| [Supplier A] | [amount] | [amount] |
| [Supplier B] | [amount] | — |
| [Supplier C] | [amount] | [amount] |
This is a placeholder table to show the shape of the answer — your real answer will carry your own suppliers and amounts.
On the standard connection
Ask the same thing on the standard connection, and emily tells you plainly that purchasing needs the direct connection, rather than guessing at a figure she doesn't have.
Supplier spend, what you owe, and purchase history are only available on the direct ERP connection — see connect your ERP for what each option covers.
