Finding documents
Ask emily to find something by name across knowledge-bank documents, deal attachments and recordings in one ask, narrow to just one of those, and attach a result straight to a deal.
Search by name, across every source at once
Ask emily to find something by name, and she searches knowledge-bank documents, deal attachments and recordings together, in the same ask, rather than making you pick a source first. It runs across the whole organisation, not just one company or deal, so a file that's already attached elsewhere turns up too.
Narrowing to one kind
Already know what you're after? Ask for just knowledge-bank documents, just deal attachments, or just recordings, and emily searches that one source instead of all three.
What a result tells you
Each result names what it is. A deal attachment also says which deal it sits on; a knowledge-bank document or a recording comes back without that — a recording can be linked to a deal and the result still won't say so, so check the record itself when it matters (see linking a recording to a CRM record).
Attaching a result to a deal
Ask emily to put a result onto a deal, and it lands in that deal's Attachments list, the same as anything uploaded there directly — see attachments on a deal for what sits in that list and how it's removed. Ask for something already attached to that same deal and emily tells you it's there rather than adding it twice.
Not the same as asking a question about a document
This finds a document by name so you can open or attach it — it doesn't read the document and answer a question about what's inside. For that, see asking questions of your documents, which works over the Knowledge Bank specifically.
Where it works
CRM works on web chat, browser voice and WhatsApp. Not on a phone call.
Next: Tasks
