Connect your ERP
Connect your ERP so emily can answer with your real sales and client figures.
"What did we sell this month?"
This is the question emily answers most. Once your ERP is connected, anyone on your team can ask it — by voice, WhatsApp or web chat — and get back real sales, invoices, client balances and product figures, without opening the ERP themselves. Connect it the direct way below and stock and purchasing questions work too.
There are two ways to connect it, and they differ in what data is available, not in how you set them up.
Two connection options
| Option | What you get |
|---|---|
| Standard connection | Sales, invoices, client balances, and product and client records — kept up to date automatically. This covers the questions most people ask day to day. |
| Direct connection | Everything the standard connection gives, plus live stock levels (units on hand, what's below minimum) and purchasing data (supplier spend, what you owe, purchase history). |
Sales, invoice and client figures read the same either way — the direct connection adds live stock and purchasing on top, it doesn't change the numbers you already get.
If your team asks about stock or purchasing and only has the standard connection, emily will say so and point you to the direct connection instead of guessing.
Read-only, always
Whichever option you use, emily only reads your ERP. She cannot create, edit or delete anything in it, and nothing she does changes a figure in your books. The direct connection has been checked against the standard connection and matches it to the cent, and client debt figures have separately been checked against your ERP's own overdue-accounts report and match that to the cent too.
How to connect it
An admin goes to Settings → Integrations to connect the ERP, or simply asks emily to connect it — see connect by asking. Either way, a connection card appears with a way to test it before you rely on it.
Next: connect calendar and mailbox
With the ERP connected, the next step is usually calendar and mailbox, so emily can also help with meetings and email.
