Limits and what's coming

Limits today

These aren't bugs — they're the honest edges of what's connected and what's built so far. emily will tell you about most of these herself if you run into one.

• No sending from a Gmail account. Reading and drafting work on Gmail like any other mailbox, but sending from your own Gmail account isn't available yet — it's pending approval. Outlook and IMAP mailboxes can already send from your own account. See connect calendar and mailbox.
• No file attachments on emails. Reports and other emails emily sends arrive as a formatted email, not as an attached file.
• No card payment or checkout. emily can adjust your plan's seat capacity or point you to Settings, but she can't take a card payment or run a checkout.
• Nothing is written to your ERP. Access is read-only, on either connection option — see connect your ERP.
• Knowledge Bank uploads are capped at around 10 MB per file. That applies to whatever you upload there, audio included, so a longer recording needs a transcript instead of the raw file. Deal attachments and recordings made in the studio take up to 25 MB each.
• Proactive checks cover low stock and overdue customer debt only. She doesn't yet watch for anything beyond those two.
• iCal and Apple calendars are read-only. She can see what's on them, but can't create, move or cancel anything there — see connect calendar and mailbox.
• Web research reads public pages only. It can't sign in anywhere, and it can't reach anything behind a login or a paywall.

What's coming

Said as direction, not as a date you can hold us to:

• Order-taking into your ERP, with confirmation. Placing an order by voice or message, with the same confirm-before-it-happens approach as everything else hard to undo, is in development. It isn't available today.
• More proactive checks beyond stock and debt. The stock and debt checks are the first of what's meant to be a wider family of background checks that flag things before you ask. See follow-ups for the first one in development. What exactly comes next beyond that isn't fixed yet.

If you hit a limit

If you ask for something emily can't do, she'll tell you plainly rather than pretending to have done it. If it's a limit on this page, now you know why; if it's something else, it's worth flagging to your admin.
