Access by person, company and topic
Admins decide, per person, which companies and which topics each teammate can ask emily about.
Access is set by admins, per person
Admins choose, for each teammate, which companies they can ask about and which topics within them — Sales, Stock, and Finance. One rep might be scoped to a single company and Sales only; another might have every company and every topic. It applies the same way everywhere — a question asked by voice, on WhatsApp, or in web chat is checked against the same scope.
See set up your team for where roles fit into this, and access by company and topic for how an admin sets it up.
Outside your scope, you get an honest refusal
If a rep scoped to Sales asks about margins, or asks about a company they haven't been given access to, emily doesn't guess and doesn't hand back a partial or approximate answer.
A rep limited to Sales who asks about margins gets an honest "you don't have access to that" — never a number that happens to be close.
This is the same standard covered in she never invents numbers: she'd rather say no than give you something that isn't reliable, whether the reason is a missing connection or a missing permission.
Why this matters to owners
This is what makes it safe to give a wide team access to emily at all: a rep can ask freely inside their own scope without ever being able to pull finance figures for a company they're not meant to see. Widening or narrowing anyone's scope is an admin change, not something a rep can do for themselves or for a colleague.
